Step 1: Identify the Left Side
Locate the left side of the ball head system that you wish to swap. Ensure you have a clear understanding of the desired configuration before proceeding.
Step 2: Remove Screws
Using a T15 torx tip, carefully remove the eight screws situated on the top of the ball head system. Take your time to avoid any damage to the components.
Step 3: Release Tension
Once the screws are removed, gently release the tension from the ball head to facilitate smooth disassembly.
Step 4: Detach Ball Head
With a counterclockwise twist, detach the ball head from the system. Be mindful of any components or mechanisms that may come loose during this process.
Step 5: Realign Half Moon
Locate the half moon component and ensure it is positioned correctly near the knob area. Take note of the alignment to prevent any issues during reassembly.
Step 6: Insert Ball Head
Carefully drop the ball head back into the system, ensuring it aligns with the two key ways for proper placement.
Step 7: Secure with Screws
Using the T15 torx tip, reinsert the eight screws into their respective positions. Tighten them securely to ensure the ball head is firmly attached to the system.
